Christmas Eve
Elijah and I went out at dusk to find the perfect spot to leave Santa's key. Since we don't have a chimney we had to improvise. Elijah decided the best place to put it would be on the ledge by the front door. Good choice son! Then we sprinkled Magic Reindeer Food all over the front yard. I believe Elijah covered every square inch!
While we were busy covering the yard, I asked Elijah if he could tell me what is the most important thing about Christmas. His response was priceless. It went something like this:
According to Elijah...
"It's Jesus' birthday!!!!!!! Would you stop asking me that!!!!! Are you crazy, mom?? (sprinkling the yard) Huh? Are you? (more sprinkling) Are you crazy? (more sprinkling) Are you??
It was one of the funniest things I have ever heard. Fortunately, I got it on video. However, it had gotten pretty dark at that point so the picture is dark. I am going to see if I can find someone who can fanagle it to get a better quality picture. I am telling you, I may just be the next World's Funniest Video winner!

Halloween Sleepover
Vicki and I thought it would be a good idea to have Hannah, Graham and Elijah over for a slumber party to kick off the Halloween festivities. Vicki and I both love Halloween and knew the kids would have a blast. They decorated a gingerbread house, played pool and foosball, carved pumpkins, and watched Monster House.

SHE Retreat
One of my best friends, Michele, invited me to attend the women's retreat for Crossroads Church. I was a member at Crossroads for about a year and a half, but had not been in about two years. I was pretty hesitate to go, but I decided why not? I was so glad I did. We had an excellent speaker talk to us about witnessing and tools to help you. I found myself feeling so convicted for not being in church and not spreading the word about what God has done in my life. I vowed that day to get back in church and start living a Godly life. There is no other way.
