Easter

Easter this year was pretty laid back. We went to church as usual and then we came to our house. My niece, Kiley, and Elijah hunted for easter eggs in our front yard. It was fun to watch them try to outwit each other.

"So, how many did you find?"

Looks like we all know who got the most eggs!

Spring is near! What, is that snow?!?

March 1st-It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. My mom, Elijah and I headed to the store to purchase some sand for the sandbox. We spent a couple hours outside playing in the sand and blowing bubbles. Elijah and Eko had a blast!
March 7th-Fast forward six days...SNOW! Weather in Arkansas is so unpredictable. I left work early and Elijah and I headed home before the roads got bad. To my surprise, Elijah wasn't up for going out. We took a late nap and headed outside around dark. I was on a mission to build a snowman. Elijah could have cared less.

My pathetic-looking two foot tall snowman!

SHE Retreat

Our women's group at Crossroads Church had our annual SHE Retreat at Cedar Glades. It was an amazing weekend. We have a great group of women who love the Lord. The focus of this years retreat was cooking, cleaning, and organizing. Definitely topics that I could benefit from! I was honored to be asked to share my story about a typical day of my life. Of course, I lost the questions that were provided for me in advance, all the more reason I need some tips on organization! I was extremely emotional while sharing me story. Actually, I was emotional all morning long. There were four other women who shared and each of their stories touched me. By the time I spoke I was like a leaky faucet. I realized a great deal about myself at the retreat and I am thankful to Christine, Dana and Misty for all the work they do.

Who will you be voting for on November 4th?
